THE CHRIS WEEKS TRIO

IF Shakespeare had ever imagined a fusion of classic melodies and lively enjoyment, he might have crafted an evening like this one, presented by The Chris Weeks Trio at St Leonard’s Church. With a fine blend of great musicianship and engaging charisma, this performance was exciting.

Chris Weeks

Chris Weeks is one of the UK’s finest Jazz singers, as well as an actor, musician, session musician and producer.

Chris recently sang on the soundtrack of the Academy Award Nominated film 'La Memoria Infinita' and he also sang on ‘100 Years’ for the artist OR3O, a beautiful song which has nearly 20 million streams across all platforms.

 

Growing up, he sang with the Bucks County and National Youth Jazz Orchestras, before becoming the male vocalist for the Oxford University Jazz Orchestra. Since then he’s sung all over the UK, bringing his smooth vocal style to such venues as the Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho, The Cavern Club in Liverpool, Twinwood Vintage Festival, The Big Feastival and many more. 

Chris currently plays Dean Martin in the 25th Anniversary Tour of 'The Rat Pack: Live In Concert'. He is also the frontman for 'The Bluejays', touring with their national theatre tour 'Rave On: The Rise Of Rock And Roll', before which he was playing Buddy Holly in the UK & Ireland Tour of 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story'.
